a weekend in pictures

This was one of my favorite Disney movies growing up.

Charlie enjoyed watching it too!
(Well, he probably just enjoyed the colors)

"Are you going to Instagram this? Make me look pretty" - Lauren
(Make you look pretty? You crazy girl! You're gorgeous!)

The look of semi satisfied pizza customer. I gave Good Pizza
in Playa another try. I'll be living here when I don't feel like
driving all the way to Westwood for pizza.

Almost cried my make up off when I saw him do this

Showing up late = a little behind on the ballot

Concession stand

My little buddy for the evening. Ack!! I love this pup so much! I've
missed him!

My Oscar 2012 watch party look
(I didn't want to wear this but I was convinced otherwise. This dress weirds me out for a
number of reasons. One of them being - there's sparkly crap all over it. I wish I was one
of those "sparkly" ladies but I'm not. Or maybe I've convinced myself of that.)

*BIG* thanks to ByBun for having another amazing Oscar Party and giving this mama bird an excuse to get out for a few hours :)

Lauren, my grill was way better than yours. Jussss saayin')

2009 - Jessi's 22nd bday @ the Velvet Margarita in Hollywood
(poor Anna didn't know I had cutoffs under my dress/top)

Wednesday Wants

EthanMade bag
(I want this SOOO bad. I mean I could use it for a hip Charlie/Diaper Bag)
I decided to start "Wednesday Wants". Maybe then this way I can remember all the neat stuff I come across that I always say "I'll get this when I have more money"... or for people who want to buy me presents because you love me or you forgot my birthday or forgot to buy me a Christmas/Hanukkah present ::hint hint:: ::wink wink:: ::nudge nudge::.

 - I've always wanted an old school typewriter (especially with the cards I've been creating recently). Here's one for the iPad. I'm still not sure how I feel about it though....

 - I'm obsessed with the hand stamped initial jewelry. I got a "C" from a good friend at my baby shower and the necklace recently broke. I need a replacement for my favorite necklace.

 - I'm a big fan of scarves. I prefer the chunky knit ones (I'm always cold). Here's a infinity scarf that I came across. Bonus points cause it's mustard (my new favorite color).

 - I kinda want this Vivitar SLR 35mm camera. It can't compare to my Canon Rebel 35mm that I lent to someone and it was eventually stolen. This one is cheaper than the Canon.

 - I've been on the hunt for the perfect pair of oxfords. I'd like these Dolce Vita ones, please (size 7 in a half in the clay)

 - My iPad needs a sweet cover/case. This one will do the trick!

Kids bet to bowl with their favorite bands that were playing Warped Tour that year.
While the boys bowled, Jessi and I were fixtures at the bar (typical).

She's Crafty: Charlie's room

I printed out the letters and pasted them to a sturdy piece of paper

I took a piece of ribbon and hung it. Printed out pictures of the family.

Hung the photos using clothes pins.

I wanted to do something for Charlie's side of the room but it couldn't be anything too permanent since I have no idea how long I'll be in the apartment. I could leave next month or I could be there a little bit longer. Who knows what the future holds. I decided to print out his name in one of my favorite fonts. I decided instead of mobile, I'd hang pictures of the family up. That way he has something to look at when he's in there. The whole project only cost me $2 (clothes pins).
