she's crafty: homemade bath toy cleaner

If you're a parent you know how annoying it at times to clean your children's toys, especially the bath toys. The bath toys are the ones that can easily grow mold. Call me a scrooge but I have limited Charlie's tub toys to just a few. His immune system is easily susceptible to illness so that is the main reason I have done this, that and we don't think it's necessary to have a lot of toys (but that's another story for another day). Every other day or so I wash Charlie's bath toys. My biggest problem was I'm against using cleaners that have harsh chemicals in them but the overpriced "natural" cleaners smell great but I sometimes worry they don't get the job done. While browsing Pinterest, I came across this "recipe" to clean bath toys. It works like a charm.

What you need:
 - white vinegar
 - dawn dish soap (the OG one aka the blue kind)
 - hot water

What to do:
 - plug your sink
 - take toys to the sink
 - add 2-3 cups of vinegar (i say it depends on how many tub toys you have or how nutty you are about making sure they're clean. i'm nutty so i did 3.)
 - squeeze in a good squirt of dawn dish soap
 - if you have toys like rubber ducks that squirt out water, etc. make sure the solution gets in them
 - let the toys sit in there for about 30-45 minutes
 - rinse

voila! easy peasy bath toy cleaner!
